Game Review:Mx Vs Atv Untamed

I know mx vs atv untamed isnt the newest game out of the series but i only recently just started playing it so i thought id do a review on it.

MX vs. ATV: Untamed is an offroad racing game developed by Rainbow Studios and THQ for the Nintendo DS, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, and Wii systems.It is a part of their MX vs. ATV series.

Mx Vs Atv Untamed is a very addictive the graphics are really good and realistic and the new controls are good and easy to get used to.

The new courses are very realistic and are excatly like the real thing,the freestyle courses include obstacles like wall rides numerous ramp and dirt hits and even nose wheelie fun boxes and are set out like the worlds best freestyle compounds.

Unlike the other Mx Vs Atv games you have alot of different options for example you can buy different bikes,parts,gear and more as you earn money as you compete.

When you first start playing you start with one bike and one gear set as you earn money you can put all the big name after market parts on your bike to increase performance and looks you can put RG3 suspension,new exaughst systems,new tires,graphic kits and more,you also have many options with gear with all the big name brands so you can deck your character out how you want him.

You also have the option not to compete you have the option to quick events and even custom events which you can choose how you want your event to be time,riders etc.

When i first started playing the game i thought to myself i wonder if this is all the parts and gear you get thought out the whole game even though there is so many different ones even when you first start.

Players also have a lot of options for what they want to play you can choose from freestyle,opencross,supermoto,endurocross,waypoint,minimoto and much more.

Badpoints so far the only bad points i have picked up thought out the game is when you do tricks you have to ride away for at least 2 seconds which is harder than it sounds sometimes.

I will give more of a update as i get through the game.

OVERALL: i give it a 8-9 out of 10

Boyfriend Bails On Girlfriend, Earns Nickname “Bo The Bailer”

The fan, only named as Bo, was sitting in the stands with his girlfriend during the Major League Baseball game between the Houston Astros and the Atlanta Braves.

But when the Astro’s hitter Chris Johnson struck a foul ball into the crowd, the fan dodged it.

He was in the path of the ball until the last second, but instead of attempting to catch it, or cushion the blow, he moved in what some people are describing as a lack of chivalry. The ball struck his girlfriend, named only as Sarah.

Tuesday’s incident was, naturally, caught by television cameras, which then zoomed in on the embarrassed couple.

The footage, which has since become an internet viral hit after being posted on YouTube, shows Sarah rubbing her arm, with the shot leaving her bruised and with seam marks.

She can also been seen chastising him immediately after she was hit.

Despite claiming he lost the ball in the stadium lights, the American media has since labelled the fan “Bo the Bailer” who took his girlfriend on “the worst date ever”.

A Facebook group has also been established in his honour.

Later a television reporter interviewed the couple while at the game.

“As soon as we got here and I saw where we were sitting, I said ‘Baby, we’re going to get hit,’” Sarah said.

“He said, ‘No, I’ll catch it if you do. We just had this conversation and sure enough, the ball comes at me. He just bailed.”

She later defended him on the Facebook group, saying people had been “too hard”.

It's hard to believe, but it's been well over a year since Jeremy Lusk's untimely passing. And although he's not with us anymore, his memory continues to live on through the Lusk Legacy Foundation, the San Diego Hall of Champions sports museum, Metal Mulisha t-shirts, countless memorabilia items, and now his wife Lauren Lusk's clothing line; In Gods Hands.

Simply put, In Gods Hands is a promising faith-based clothing company that honors Jeremy and promotes inspiration. Here's an excerpt from their mission statement:

"In Gods Hands is a clothing line inspired by the endless pursuit of hope and eternal happiness. Created by Lauren Lusk, IGH honors the memory of her late husband Jeremy Lusk, a freestyle motocross legend who constantly exuded love, faith and loyalty to everyone he touched. In Gods Hands' mission is to inspire all to promote faith, hope and love. IGH supports their mission by donating a portion of proceeds to families in need."

ESPN FMX contacted Lauren Lusk to find out more about her new venture, what it's all about, and where she sees it going in the future.

ESPN: So, I actually just heard about your new venture by word of mouth through my boy Beau Manley. Can you tell me about what you have going on?

Lauren Lusk: Yeah, I'm starting a clothing company called In Gods Hands, and obviously it all started with Jeremy. I'm sure you've seen the In God's Hands shirts shirts that the Metal Mulisha had made shortly after he passed away -- those were just kind of meant for a short-term thing to raise money for the foundation that I started to kind of help me get back on my feet and such. But what happened is that the shirts did so well and there was such a demand for them, so people just kept ordering them. The Mulisha continued to make them, which I was okay with because I obviously people want to keep his memory alive.

Then Toby Bost, the CEO of La Jolla Group -- who owns Mulisha and a lot of other huge brands -- approached me with the opportunity like, "Why don't you start your own clothing line? It's something that will be a career for you and you love fashion and you love clothes -- it's something to carry on Jeremy's name and legacy." So I was like, "Uh, oh my gosh, yeah!" I knew it would give me something to do and be passionate about, so it kind of just evolved -- like it just started a couple months ago.

So, shortly after I started working full time in Irvine La Jolla Group -- that's were the Mulisha, Lost, O'Neill and all the other brands are based out of -- and La Jolla Group is just huge. They're big time so it was exciting to get the opportunity to have my own line, which is obviously called In Gods Hands in memory of Jeremy and his tattoo. The brand also kind of represents everything I've been through the past year and a half, with my rollercoaster of ups and downs -- hitting rock bottom to where I'm at right now, pushing through making something good come out of something so bad.

That's so rad. So Manley was also telling me that you're having some sort of launch party on Friday too. What'll be going down there?

Yeah, this Friday we're having a launch party during the ASR tradeshow in San Diego, and it's just to let all the retailers know about the brand. We did a photo shoot two weeks ago, so at the launch party we'll have a streaming video of the shoot, as well as photos and other things. Obviously we have full support from the moto industry, so a lot of industry people and athletes will be there along with mine and Jeremy's friends. So yeah, it's just kind of like a launch party to get everyone excited about the brand. The line happened so fast that people don't even really know about it, so we're just doing this to show people what we're doing.

So what's some of the first stuff that's included in the line? What kind of clothing will you be offering?

We just started out with tees, tanks and hats for Spring 2011, and then as we get into fall we'll start doing other things. But it's small for right now because it just started and we have to kind of create an entire line -- eventually I'd like to make everything, so we'll see where it goes.

Yeah, I was going to ask you about that. How do you see the brand growing in the future?

I want it to go big! I want do everything! I want it to expand to, who knows, jewelry, perfume, cologne -- you know, I want to do everything, so hopefully we'll get there.

I'm sure you've always been into fashion since you're a girl and all girls love fashion, but has designing and owning a clothing line always been a dream of yours?

Yeah, I've always wanted to start my own clothing line, and it's also something Jeremy and I wanted to do as well. So that makes it even more meaningful because we always used to talk about it like, "someday we'll start our own clothing brand." So it's kind of cool that I get to pursue a dream that was mine, and also something we wanted to do together.

I'm guessing it's too early to say since it's so new, but where will people be able to buy the line once it hits the streets?

We have our own website and it's just a splash page right now, but eventually it'll have all the images from the photo shoot and you'll be able to buy the clothing online -- the site's InGodsHands.com. It's not a moto brand so it kind of speaks to a different consumer, so it's probably gonna be in more boutiques and stores like that.

It's probably a pretty good thing that you're not pigeonholing yourself in the motocross world.

Yeah, I didn't want to because I just felt like that's already been done with Mulisha and they're so successful and they already have all the athletes. Even though there are so many brands out there, I wanted to do something different, you know?

Tonight we sat down with rising freestyle mx amuater Tom Robinson and picked his brain and heres what went down!.

Aighty so introduce yourself,name,age,when did you start riding.

My name is Tom Robinson im 18 years old and i started riding when i was 8 when my dad bought me a bike for my birthday.

What do you do for work.

afterschool i work at a chaff cutting farm bagging and loading feed for race horses .. pretty ironic seeing as though i hate horses haha.

How did you get into freestyle.

Well i watched the early crusty demons vidoes all the time before i got a bike so as soon as i started riding that all i wanted to do. Plus having Liam Goesch just down the road who rode freestyle was also pretty inspiring and got me into it aswell.

Where do you wanna go with your riding as in how far do you wanna go with it.
As far as i can go haha i just ride because its fun so i guess ill see where it takes me .. hopefully this year i can do well in the rfdmx underground tour and possibly do some demos.

What do you do in your free time besides ride.

Alot of my time goes into my triton ute at the moment im doing up into a mini truck. I also like the hang out with my mates and girlfriend as much as i can.

If you know anything about anything then you know that X Games gold medalist and current Red Bull X-Fighters title-holder Nate Adams has been rapping for the past few years. Spitting flows here and there, Adams hasn't held back about showcasing his mic skills to the world, as he rocked a solid set, opening the 2009 TransWorld Motocross Awards show in Las Vegas. You may also remember him and Ronnie Faisst performing performing a cover of Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby," called "Ride Twice Daily" at the first-ever AFMXA Awards show. Yeah, it was epic.

Checking in with Metzger Pt. 1

Back in May, the "Godfather of Freestyle Motocross" Mike Metzger took a huge digger, breaking his femur (for the fourth time), shattering his elbow and breaking his hand. Obviously this sucked for Metz, but what makes it worse is that he was absolutely KILLING it prior to his accident. With an X Games Speed & Style invite in the bag, Metz had a gang of motivation and it showed in his riding. Filming for his own part in "On the Pipe 6," Metz was getting busy on natural terrain like it was his job ... actually it was. But after a 115-foot backflip gone wrong, Metz was forced to take an unwanted hiatus from riding.

While paying a visit to Metzger's Paradise Ranch in Menifee, Calif., ESPN.com/Action's Cliff Talley was able to sit down with Metz to discuss his recent injuries, the horrifying surgery process, and his chances of still being able to ride Speed & Style. Peep.

(CNN) -- Paul Gray, the bassist for the Grammy-winning metal band Slipknot, was found dead Monday morning in his Des Moines, Iowa, hotel room, according to police. He was 38.

An autopsy, including toxicology tests, will be performed Tuesday, Disney said.

Gray was arr More..ested in Iowa in 2003 on drug possession charges when police found small amounts of marijuana, two syringes and a substance that field-tested positive for cocaine after he was involved in a wreck with another motorist.

Known for his fearless riding style, troublemaking antics and rock star persona, Colin 'Scummy' Morrison turned a lot of heads and made a big impact during the height of his hot and cold career. But as we've seen time and time again, Scummy eventually succumbed to the temptations that come along with the infamous lifestyle, leading him down the path of no return.

Now back on the bike after completely disappearing from the scene for nearly five years, Scummy has returned with a new lease on life, a grocery list of ambitious goals, and a newfound love for the simple things in life.

Besides making a comeback on the bike, Scummy's looking towards Hollywood to spark up an acting career.

ESPN: Scummy, what's going on man? It seems like you've been making a huge comeback, pushing to get back into the scene. What's up?

Morrison: Well, right now I pretty much just got my entire life straightened out. Just being in the Metal Mulisha and being in this sport just really took its toll on me. Pretty much everything just came to me -- the girls, the drugs, everything. I'm one of the innovators and I've been in this sport since day one and you know, I'm the kind of guy that doesn't know how to shut it down, party-wise. I was going big on my dirt bike and with the partying -- that was me and I was living the Motley Crue lifestyle.

But now I'm over 40 days sober and I'm really taking the whole sobriety thing really serious and bottom line, I'm 28-years-old and I don't want to be known as that guy that parties and messes up, you know? I feel like I have so many great sponsors right now and so many opportunities that I can take advantage of. I just want to be clean and sober and show people that if Scummy can change his life around, anyone can. I just wanna be a good role model and kind of just change my whole outlook because I want kids to look up to me. I've noticed that since I've cleaned my act up, so many opportunities have fallen on my lap and so I've got a lot of good things in the works.

Man, you know what? For me there's way too many crazy stories to even talk about -- there really is, so let's just keep it at that. Bottom line is, Motley Crue? They ain't got nothing on me.

Obviously you disappeared for a long while. When do you think you experienced the height of your freestyle career?

I was never into freestlyle -- I mean I was, but I was never the kind of guy that's like "Oh dude, I'm going to get top five in this event." It was always about putting a show on, being punk rock and having fun -- it didn't matter if I came in dead last. So I'd say the height of my career is just when I was going big on my bike. I've had a couple big jumps in my life -- I'd say a pretty big one was when I did the train jump. It was fifth gear wide open and nobody has ever hit that jump since I did it. So, just that and being noticed for going big and hitting jumps that nobody else will, and that's what I want to be known as right now. Everyone's doing freestyle, but I like doing my own thing and not following the grain in any which way. I don't want to be a freestyler and follow what everyone else is doing, I want to be an originator and just do my own thing.

Back when you were "big" in the scene, were you making a lot of money? Like back in the 'Twitch and Scummy" days?

Yeah, I was making a lot of money and we were just having fun, like just raging out and traveling. And maybe I should've saved some money, but with the name recognition I have, I've always done pretty good. I can market myself really good and dude, I've stayed busy since I've pretty much been in this sport. It's crazy, but I've never really had a slow moment. Maybe there were a couple slow moments when I was in that dark hole, but luckily I've always had great sponsors to back me up.

So you obviously rocked it in your hey day -- do you have any specific moments that you look back on and think to yourself, "Jesus, what the hell was I thinking?"

Man, you know what? For me there's way too many crazy stories to even talk about -- there really is, so let's just keep it at that. Bottom line is, Motley Crue? They ain't got nothing on me. Breaking down hotel rooms, screwing things up -- people would trip out if I began telling stories -- I don't even know where to start on that one.

When do you feel that you started to slip out of the limelight?

Maybe like a couple years ago, but it's not like I was smoking crystal meth and shooting up heroin or anything like that. It was nothing like that, just smoking a little weed, taking a couple vicodin. But now I've realized that I don't need that stuff man. I can get over the pain, I'm a strong dude. I have a lot of issues in my life where my head's not like anyone else's. I've got a lot of messed up things going on in my head -- a lot of crazy things -- and for me, smoking a little weed, taking a few pills and drinking just took all that stuff away. But I've discovered that's not the way to live your life, you know? I have to attack my problems and conquer them full force. By drinking and taking drugs, it just makes you a weak person and I'm stronger than that. Since getting sober I feel like I've got a clear head to figure out my problems and I'm cleaning everything up. I just want people to know that I've got my s--t together and I aint' going nowhere in this sport -- I'll tell you that right now.

So, was there a turning point where you realized that you had to clean your act up before it was too late?

Well, pretty much, I did the whole sobriety thing for me. Every other time I tried to get clean it was because I had an intervention with the Mulisha guys or an intervention with my parents ... but I never wanted to get clean for myself. I was always trying to stay clean for my friends, but I never really wanted it. But this time I realized that I needed to do it for myself and ever since I've had that mentality, it's been working. I wake up every single morning and go to an AA class, and it's good to see I'm not the only person living like this. There are a lot people out there that have addiction problems, no matter what it is.

Back when you were rocking it super hard, where were you living and what were you doing on a day-to-day basis? Because you kind of just disappeared from the FMX scene.

You know, I was always riding my bike and making sponsors pumped, but I was pretty much just eating vicodin and smoking weed. Then I'd go out a lot and when I would start drinking, I was the center of attention -- I was just like a sparkplug in the club. Nobody would mess with me because they knew I was going big and I just turned into a crazy person pretty much.

Yeah he's not looking to get back into the typical FMX gig, but he's still got some tricks up his sleeve.

Were you in Los Angeles during all of this?

No, I was living in my dad's house, but then he kicked me out because I was crashing trucks and got a couple DUI's. So he kicked me out and then I moved to the cabin north of LA, which I'm sure a lot of people know about -- it's a very famous spot in the "Twitch and Scummy" movie. I moved in there, and it was like the first house I've ever lived in where I was away from my parents. It was crazy because before I was partying hard at my parent's house, but now I lived in a sick house and that just took it to a different level. The guy I was living with was really into drugs and every single night was a party out there. But also, every single day I was riding. I learned how to ride kind of screwed up and I fooled a lot of people, but it was just a party every single day.

After I got out of that place, my chick and I got an apartment in Valencia, but if you want to ride motocross professionally there's nothing out there. So I was riding there, but I still didn't have my life together, so we moved to Murrieta and I still had issues. My best friend died in the back of my truck on a pill overdose and I was so messed up and into pills that right after he died, I popped a couple of them myself to help me get over it. Then I had an intervention with the Mulisha guys, cleaned my life up, but then I got right back into using because doctors would prescribe me vicodin after getting hurt.

I did the whole sobriety thing for me. Every other time I tried to get clean it was because I had an intervention with the Mulisha guys or an intervention with my parents ... but I never wanted to get clean for myself.

That's probably where it all started because being dirt bike rider and getting prescribed pills when you're hurt is not a good thing. Some people know how to just take a couple pills, but I don't -- I would just eat them to feel good and one thing would lead to another and so on and so on. One beer would turn into eight beers and that's just who I am, I don't know when to shut it down.

Obviously you're on the right path now; how were you able to overcome your addictions and demons?

You know, I am so blessed with all my friends, my fiancé and my family. I just have so many people that want to see me do good because they know I have a name in this sport and they don't want to see me screw it up. It's been huge knowing that they've all go my back, because it makes it a lot easier. But like I said before, I finally got clean for myself and it's working. People are saying that they see a huge change in me, I'm riding better and overall things are just getting better. I'm never going to go back to who I was, but you gotta take it one step at a time, because I'm not really too far into this. You can't say, "Oh, I'll be sober for the rest of my life," because that's not the way it works -- you gotta take it one day at a time and that's what I'm doing right now. I know I'm never going to go back to who I was, but I can't think like that. If I know that I'm not going to take pills, drink or smoke weed today, then that's fine, but I can't say what I'm going to do tomorrow.

I just want to come back and hear people say, "Damn, there's Scummy. We've seen that guy weeded for the past five years and look at him now!" I know I'm a huge inspiration already because people are looking at me and realizing that this is the cool new trend. The cool new thing is to stay sober and not to go get all messed up. I already know I'm doing a lot for people and I want to keep it that way. I have a lot of fans out there, so I just want to show people that I can do this, I'm still young in the sport and I'm not going anywhere. I still want to go big in this sport and I've got a lot of things to prove.

You've been saying you have a new outlook on life; what's that exactly mean?

Since I've been clean, I just have such a clear vision of my life. It goes from talking straight, just to making my sponsors happy, rolling up at Deegan's house with a clear head, which I've never had before. I'm just attacking all my problems, knowing I'm not going to get into trouble today, I'm not going to piss my sponsors off and I'm not going to screw anything up. Like instead of hanging out with my stupid, messed up friends, I like coming home to my fiancé, my two little white dogs, taking bubble baths and watching the Kardashian's. Like those are lame shows, but I love it dude I love being inside with my girl and just living the lame lifestyle. I always used to be the guy to be like, "Where are we going to go tonight? What are we going to mess up? Where are we going to get wasted?" Now it's like a complete 180 dude. It's just a nice lifestyle and I've never been happier. I really have a new outlook on life.

So, now that you have this new outlook on life and whatnot, how's your riding been going?

It's insane man. I'm known for going big and so I know that's the direction I want to go. I showed up at the Daredevil Rockfest where Trigger Gumm and Seth Enslow were battling for the distance record and I showed up out of nowhere -- I wasn't even invited -- and I killed it. I went bigger than both of them and I proved myself. They were on 450's and I was on a 250 with a freestyle seat -- my bike wasn't even set up for that stuff and it was cake dude. I don't want to say I went bigger and jumped more than them, but bottom line is that I did. I proved that I can go as big as the best and after that, the guys at Crusty Demons saw my potential and invited me to ride the Crusty Demons Night of World Records, which will be going down on the fourth of July or the first of the year. And that's a chance for me to hold my bike fifth gear wide open and pretty much show these guys, who the real record holder should be. I ain't claiming nothing, but I really think I'll be setting the distance world record here within the year.

Do you think you can beat out Robbie Maddison and Ryan Capes when it comes to distance?

Definitely, I don't think they're any better than me whatsoever. Bottom line is that I got them -- any day any place.

What do you think makes a distance jumper good? Is it skill or just all about being fearless?

I think that being a distance jumper is all about having balls, man. You're going fifth gear pinned on your bike, knowing that if you do crash, you're probably going to die. There are no foam pits involved -- I look at it as the most hardcore thing you can do on a bike. Every single kid is doing backflips now and for me, backflips have never been my thing. And right now, that's not the way to make a lot of money. It's like if you're not doing a hart attack backflip, you still ain't s--t, dude. So I look at it like, "Am I going to kill myself on a backflip, where every single person in the world's doing it, or am I going to go huge on my bike, where there are only a handful of guys attempting that?" For me, going big has always just come natural. If it's a fifth gear jump, I feel comfortable. I feel more comfortable on that than I do hitting a 75-foot ramp-to-ramp jump.

I know you hit that massive jump at the Daredevil Rockfest shirtless -- is that something that you would do again if you had the opportunity to set a world record?

Oh dude, I'd jump without a shirt while smoking a cigarette in my helmet just to show everybody how punk rock I am. It's like, "Who's the most hardcore?" That's why I got into the Metal Mulisha, because they're the gnarliest dudes around. I want to keep this sport hardcore, because it's not like it used to be. And I want to be hardcore without the drugs and partying, and I got it dude. I know I do.

Well, I can see that you've got your direction set when it comes to distance jumping, how about everything else? I heard you're doing a lot off the bike as well.

I've done so much crazy crap that I probably can't remember half the things I've been through, but I can remember the other half and that's the story I'll tell.

Yeah man, actually Beau Manley and I just got the main lead roles for a movie I can't talk too much about, but it's going to be huge. It's going to be in the big screen movie theatres and it's all acting -- it's not about dirt bikes whatsoever I never would've imagined that riding dirt bikes would've led me to reading scripts, but it has and it's insane. We're filming in Hollywood at the CBS lot and this just turns the whole thing around for me, man. You know, I'll be getting a pay check for acting and I never would've thought this possible, but it's been a dream of mine forever and I think that this is going to open up a lot of doors.

It's funny because in the movie I play a drug dealer, so yeah I've practiced that role forever, but now I'm sober and I'll be acting it. I'm going to put 100% into it -- I'm not going to show up all messed up, mumbling my lines. I know that I'm going to do good and this will open up a lot of doors because the producers of this film have three other movies they're working on that I fit the part for, so this is going to be a big thing for me. And by doing this movie, I'll get my SAG card and I've always wanted to be a stuntman, so that will help open that door as well. So for the next three months, Manley and I will be filming this movie in LA, so look out for it in movie theatres in the future -- the movie is called "Bro."

I'm also working on a documentary movie called "Scumdog Millionaire." I'll be filming once a month and it'll be showing my progress on how I'm staying sober and how my life gets better and better by the month. More things will continue to fall in my lap seeing as how I've changed my life around and I want this to be an inspirational movie for people, showing that you can still be hardcore, but do it without the drugs and partying. It's going to take a while to film, but once it comes out, it's going to be really good and it'll touch a lot of people.

As far as your acting goes, have you ever acted before?

Well, when there's a camera in my face, I feed off of that. You know, I've filmed all these dirt bike movies and I've done skits and all that for over 12 years, so pretty much acting is second nature to me. We just did rehearsals and I killed it and the producers were saying I was a natural. I'm not claiming I'm the new Johnny Depp, not at all, but I think I got what it takes and I'm not scared in front of a camera.

So what's this I hear about you writing a book?

Yeah man, I am. The book will be kind of like this interview, you know? I got the idea from reading Nikki Sixx's "The Heroin Diaries." Motley Crue is my favorite band and you know, they lived the same lifestyle as I did -- the drugs and women would come to them. So I read the book and I realized that if Nikki Sixx is writing all these stories about his insane life, I can too. I've got so many crazy stories from the last 12 years, and if people read it and I really tell the truth, people will realize how gnarly I was. I don't want to hold anything back at all, I want to tell the most screwed up stories about all the messed up things I've been through. I also want to talk about how things are changing in my life for the better -- it's basically just going to be a diary of my life. The good, the bad, the ugly ... no holds barred. People are going to trip.

Do you even remember all the gnarly things you've done and lived through?

Yeah, I don't know. I've done so much crazy crap that I probably can't remember half the things I've been through, but I can remember the other half and that's the story I'll tell. [laughs]

It's obvious you're staying busy and have a lot on your plate. But, wrapping up, I want to know what you think makes your story different than the others who have tried to clean up their act and make a comeback before you? And are you at all worried that you'll fall back into that lifestyle?

There's no way I'm going back. You know, I'm addicted to this sober lifestyle and I want it for me, not for anyone else. It all comes down to commitment. I'm going to stick to it and I'm going to work the steps because it doesn't happen over night. I've got a lot to prove and I love life man. I'm just really thankful for my friends, family and sponsors and there's no reason for me not to go big and prove everyone wrong. When you got a clean head and you're sober, you can do anything you put your mind to. For once I've thrown the white flag up, I've realized that I have issues, and I firmly believe that this is going to stick. This ain't a lie man -- this is me, this is the new Scummy. Pretty much the old Scummy is dead and the new re-born Scummy is alive and he was born about 45 days ago.

Crusty Demons prank almost fatal

The Crusty Demons tempt fate for a living but a stunt in far north Queensland late yesterday nearly sealed it.

One of the pranksters almost drowned after bungy jumping in a shopping trolley.

Strapped to a shopping trolley in Cairns, two men made it safe to an inflatable boat before pushing the trolley into the water.

The only problem was founding film-maker Dana Nicholson was still strapped into the trolley as it sank like lead.

He was trapped inside the trolley and under water for 40 seconds.

Dana has survived a chopper crash and an avalanche.

"I sat all the way down and thought 'no one's going to save me'," he said.

"I made the decision to figure out how to get out."

Always hungry for publicity they said it was not a stunt.

A former Sydney primary school teacher who was fired for posing naked in Cleo magazine with her husband has stripped again.

Lynne Tziolas was sacked from her job as a Year 1 teacher at the northern beaches Narraweena Public School two years ago and is suing the Department of Education over her dismissal.

But the case, which is before the Anti-Discrimination Board of NSW has not stopped Mrs Tziolas from posing for a raunchy shoot for men's magazine Zoo.

In an interview with the magazine, the 26-year-old wears black leather boots and a leopard skin bra and talks about her passion for heavy metal music.

She said she was determined to track down the person who made the complaint about her Cleo Magazine spread which led to her dismissal.

"I don’t know who it was, but a lot of people have contacted me with information. I’ve narrowed it down to a few key people who could be responsible," Zoo quoted Mrs Tziolas as saying.

She told ninemsn in 2008 that she was handed a letter by the principal that read; "I refer to an article in the magazine Cleo in which your photograph appears acompanied by an article about your personal life.

"Concerns have been raised by community members in relation to this article. I have concerns that this will seriously impact on your continued employment at Narraweena Public School," it read, before telling her that her contract would be terminated.

Parents at the school put their support behind Mrs Tziolas, signing a petition to try to have her reinstated.

After parting ways with previous sponsor Subrosa, Rich Hirsch didn't jump right in with another BMX company. Instead, the creative force behind Lotek Footwear and Fremont Clothing decided to go his own way, starting Stranger BMX, a new company offering frames and bars manufactured by S&M Bikes, along with a range of soft goods. Stranger is Rich and the crew's own thing. They make the parts they want to ride and they promote the riding they're doing every day. Of course it helps when the team is awesome and the parts have no gimmicks attached. But I'll let Rich tell it from his perspective.

You've ridden for a few different bike companies over the years. What made you want to start your own brand instead of riding for another company?

I wanted to make bikes the way I'd like them and this seemed like the best way to make that happen. The frames and bars are a bit bigger then most of what's available and a bit thicker as well.

What is Stranger doing different from other BMX frame companies out there?

Everything I suppose, depending how you look at it.

Is Stranger only going to focus on US-made frames and bars, or do you plan to expand into other products?

I have some samples being made overseas on the way. If they are good, they will come out sooner or later.

Why go the US-made route with your frames and bars? And do you think that US-made BMX products are making a comeback?

I live here in the US, it seems kind of silly to order stuff from the other side of the world first if I have the option of ordering it from an established bike manufacturer down the street. Building my first products with S&M before sampling them overseas also gives me something to judge those ones against to make sure they stand up.

I wanted to make bikes the way I'd like them and this seemed like the best way to make that happen.

Can you explain the relationship between Stranger and Them?

Them is an online store that sells Stranger and other stuff as well as a blog. It seemed like a better idea than doing a Stranger online store so we could more actively promote other shops as well through the Stranger site.

How has the reception to Stranger been so far?

It seems good to me although I only talk to a few people.

What's the most important part of running Stranger?

Not taking it serious.

Catching up with Robbie Adelberg

over the weekend freeridermx did a real interesting interview with the one-and-only Robbie Adelberg, to find out what he thinks of the European FMX scene, his plans to move to the States, and if he's ready to be a Dad in a couple months' time!

It’s all happening for 21-year-old Rob Adelberg. As well as taking the European IFMXF series by storm, the easy-going Victorian is stunning the Nitro Circus audiences with his silky smooth style and massive extension, and in just nine weeks time he’s going to be a Dad for the first time. Simon Makker caught up with Adelboggie to get the skinny.

First up, Robbie, congratulations on your impending fatherhood! That’s going to bring a few changes to your life.

Yeah definitely! I’ve got 10 weeks left before me and my lady Stacey bring a little boy into the world, and I’m really looking forward to it. It’s been pretty smooth sailing so far. We’ve just moved into a new house in Bomaderry, North Nowra, which is near her parents, and I’ll be able to ride at Maddo’s and Luke Stono’s compounds. We’ve got the house, but still need to move all my stuff up. Within the next week we should’ve moved in.

Exciting times! Now, you’ve just come back from Europe where you’ve had a successful campaign so far at the IFMXF series.

Yeah, my worst placing over there has been a third, so it’s going really well, and I’m tied for first place in the championship with Libor Podmol. I haven’t found it that hard to settle in there; everything’s been going pretty well so far, and I’m really happy with the results I’m achieving.

What’s it like competing against the Euro riders compared to Australians?

I think it works in my favour, actually. The European riders do all the big tricks, but a lot of them don’t have the style and bike skill, I guess you’d call it. I’d say I’m one of the smoothest riders in the championship, so that definitely plays into my hands. They’ve all got big Backflip tricks and Underflip tricks, but not really any decent upright tricks. I think that helps myself and the American rider, Brody Wilson stand out from the rest.

How hard is it communicating with the other riders? I know some speak good English, but it must still be hard.

The language barrier is definitely the hardest thing about it. There’re a lot of hand signals, but we sorta understand what the other person is trying to say. It’s especially hard with the track-buildiers, because most of them are German and can’t speak English very well, if any at all. They also measure everything in metres, so they’ll say “this is a 20m jump, this is 22m”, so I’ve got to try and convert that to feet in my head.

Wait… 22m is only like 66ft.

Yeah that’s right. That’s the distance of the jumps over there, but the ramps are 8m radius instead of 9m, so they’re steeper. The indoor set-ups are fairly small, so you have to hit them a fair bit slower than 75ft, which is hard to get used to. With flip tricks like the Kiss Of Death flip or any that you have to pull harder on, it’s easier to get good rotation, as the ramps are steeper at the top.

What do think of courses over there, being a lot smaller than the ones we tend to have here in Australia?

It’s not too bad. The Euro courses are really basic with two or three ramps, but the small arenas mean there is hardly any time to brake when you land, as the wall comes up pretty quick. It’s hard to do One-Handed Take-offs, No-Handed Landers or Side-Saddle Landers. The last round I rode in Basel was the tightest course and I hadn’t planned to do a Side-Saddle Lander, but during the run I thoguht I’d give it a go, as it’d play in my favour. I landed and came at the wall, and my front wheel washed out a bit, but I managed to still pull it up in time. It was close, but.

So are you planning on competing in the entire series?

I miss out on Turkey this weekend because of the Nitro Circus stop in Sydney, but I’ll do the rest of them this year.

Are you surprised at how good your results have been?

I know what I’m capable of, and I knew it’d be close between the top three. I was hoping I’d regularly be on the podium, so it’s been reassuring that I’m doing as well as I’d hoped I would. And that reassurance has given me more confidence, especially as I now know what I’m up against and what to expect. I don’t really have to do anything dramatically new or different tricks and still finish on the podium, but if I can go back with good Seatgrab Flip and a big Underflip, that’ll help me even more.

Your plans were to originally head to America this year. Has that changed now that you’ve got a grommet on the way, and your great results in Europe?

Not really, I still want to base myself in the US. For the first year I’m going to try and get ourselves set up and comfortable with baby, then bring the baby over with us. Hopefully by the end of next year I can buy a house in the States, get a good visa to stay there for a few years. All my sponsors are there and they’d love to have me living in the States. There’s a lot more happening, and it’s closer to Europe, so yeah, that’s still the goal at this stage.

They're barely out of puberty and they're already earning more in a year than most adults will earn in a lifetime — but which underage actor is the richest on TV?

That would be 16-year-old Angus T. Jones, better known as Two-and-a-Half Men's Jake Harper. According to the New York Post, he makes around US$250,000 per episode — totalling to an annual salary of US$5.5 million.

In 2009 Jones told the Los Angeles Times that he isn't sure whether he'll continue acting when Two and a Half Men wraps up. With a pay packet like that, he won't need to work at all.

(Jones's co-stars are equally well-paid: his TV dad Jon Cryer reportedly pulls down US$450,000 per episode, while Charlie Sheen — the highest paid actor on US TV — makes US$800,000.)

The second highest child actor is Miranda Cosgrove, the 16-year-old star of Nickelodeon's iCarly. She earns a reported US$180,000 per episode.

But underage stars stand to earn a lot more if they expand beyond the small screen. Miley Cyrus, for example, makes "just" US$15,000 per episode of Hannah Montana, but earns millions more thanks to her recording and movie careers.

Bundaberg rider Clint Moore created freestyle history inside the Brisbane Entertainment Centre last night by landing the first-ever 75ft Volt Body Varial.

Moore is only the second person in the world to have stomped the super-technical trick to dirt, and is the first person to do it over 75ft in a competition or show format. Kyle Loza first landed the trick at the 2007 X Games Best Trick comp, and won gold. Loza has reportedly landed the Volt several times over 75ft but never in a public setting.

Moore, whose stocks have skyrocketed in the past six months after re-entering the FMX world with a 360 in his bag of tricks, had only landed three Volts to dirt at his home compound before taking the trick to the Nitro Circus Tour.

"That was the cleanest I've landed it!" he beamed afterward. "That's now my fourth to dirt and as I came around, all I could see was the handlebars. I was like 'where's the res-mat?!' I didn't care about anything about safely making the downramp, but it turned out sweet. I was so pumped afterward."
